How will you make an impact:

As a Product Content Team Lead on the Digital Content Platforms team, you will supervise the day-to-day product content authoring of a small group of content professionals with support from the US-based Content Manager. Your work will include prioritizing and managing new product content and content updates, as well as collaborating with internal and external partners to improve content health and ensure the highest level of quality. We are looking for a collaborative content professional with a strong understanding of digital product content, experience leading multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you must have outstanding communication and project management skills, exercise good judgment in prioritizing team projects, and constantly seek out opportunities to improve product content performance and processes.

What will you do:

Supervise, coach, and train a small team of product content professionalsPartner with collaborators to collect product specifications and relevant data/metadata to synthesize into highly structured product descriptionsEnsure product data is structured appropriately, and that formatting is applied to support global websitesConfirm content is consistent with corporate style requirements and brand guidelines and in compliance with Legal requirements (domestic and international)Review accuracy of taxonomy categorizations to ensure products contain applicable specifications (attributes)Encourage self-service reporting by collaborating with business groups to identify and prioritize content backfill to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO)Communicate effectively with business partners, IT and other colleagues for on-time content deliveryLearn and apply process improvement strategies including PPI (Practical Process Improvement)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing or a scientific field1-2 years of experience managing a team5+ years of experience developing and maintaining content within content management systemsSolid understanding of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Access, to work with and analyze large data sets

Outstanding attention to detailWorking knowledge of scientific terms/abbreviations and HTML formatting is a plusStrong spelling, grammar, and writing skillsSelf-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamStrong project and time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple tasks and time-critical situationsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to clearly convey project progress and timelinesStrong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
