The Drafter/Designer takes charge of crafting mechanical engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and handling part numbers in system. This role supports both the design of new products and the improvement of existing designs, collaborating closely with various departments including engineering, simulation, manufacturing, marketing, and suppliers. Precision in calculations such as minimum wall checks, stem lengths, surface areas, and unit conversions (mm to inch) is important for producing accurate 2D layouts and comprehensive 3D assembly models. Additionally, the role involves data entry and maintenance tasks within the Oracle database system, supporting multi-functional operations across the organization.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Skills: Proficient in fundamental skills for drafting, modeling, and assembly/layout creation
Drafting: Build high-quality drawings based on engineering and customer requirements.
Calculations: Perform calculations to verify critical dimensions and tolerances ensuring drawing functionality.
Communication: Effectively communicate feedback within engineering, drafting, and management teams in a global environment.
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing):Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of ASME Y14.5 and its application.
Standards Compliance: Consult internal and external standards to ensure drawings stay in sync with company practices.
Part Number Management: Build and maintain part numbers using the company’s Oracle Database.
Digital Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Experience in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar field with CAD-related experience.
1 year of PCE-related experience crafting drawings and 3D models.
Technical Knowledge Requirements:
Familiarity with ASME Standards (Y14.1, Y14.3, Y14.5) and manufacturing processes (machining, casting, additive manufacturing).
Minimum B2 level English proficiency in TOEIC.
