Introduction
We are seeking a Product Data Migration Manager to join the Engineering & PLM team in Metso IT Applications for this newly established role. You will be part of the team responsible for the development and advanced support of PLM Applications and related interfaces. Your role plays a crucial part in Metso PLM-roadmap implementation. In this position, you will report to Markku Pienimäki, Manager, Equipment Engineering & PLM Applications.
This position is located in Finland, Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. We also hope you are willing to travel when needed (<20% of the work schedule).
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Engineering and PLM professionals in IT dedicated to fulfilling needs and requirements from business areas. We are currently working on supporting the Corporate ERP initiative and consolidation of the PLM environment.
We work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, such as Engineering & PLM team members, business representatives, partners, and peer IT teams. You also interact with peers and follow overall application development in other companies.

What you’ll do
Own and develop product data migration tools and processes Drive migration projects from an IT point of view Manage pool of migration resources, both internal and external Play a key role in PLM consolidation and Merger & Acquisition integration initiatives Collect and document requirements
Who you are
Experience and in-depth understanding of the Extract, Transform, and Load process, tools, and techniques Strong project management and organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing the completion of tasks by non-direct reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience working in a matrix organization with teams that may be virtual in nature We assume you to have a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree either in Information Technology or Engineering. Although not a prerequisite, a good understanding of SAFe, Lean, Agile ways of working is preferable. A development-oriented mindset and ambition to improve the ways to operate is essential in this role. You should have a self-directed working style and you are used to working in a hectic and multitasking environment.
