About the candidate:

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong experience as a business analyst (4-6 years of experience) with solid exposure to Airline domain.Sound understanding of the GDS systems & Airline Data feeds (PNR, TKT, INV, SKD etc.,).Good exposure to the Data domains in the Airline Industry with experience providing comprehensive insights to the Customers as needed.Manage relations with key stakeholders - Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project management, Implementation, Migration and Development teams.Should have good experience in troubleshooting the issues involving the Data feeds.Exposure to the BA deliveries – Product Specifications, Data Modelling, Functional & Non-functional requirements, Business Requirements, API specifications, UML diagrams.Ability to independently explore the system, discover the unknown facts and document them for future reference. Good knowledge on Application architecture principles and Secure Development Life Cycle Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.Customer focused and flexible. May required to work in overlapping hours with the other locations on a need basis.Strong sense of Ownership for team objectives.Curiosity to keep learning and gaining knowledge in the airline industry.Should have a passion for excellence.
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed analysis of Airline message feeds (PNR, TKT, INV, SKD etc.,) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement & Investigations.Gather business requirements shared by Product Owner, Product Manager, customer, account managers and assess the size of work.Mentor other Business Analysts in the team and coordinate cross functional teamsPerform Project management roles for certain projects or product functionality and coordination with several technical teams. In addition, a business analyst will also interface with many different departments throughout Amadeus.Write documents detailing analysis, Interface Control Documents, functional flow, Feasibility Studies and present them during functional walk-throughs to different stakeholders such as – developers, architects, Engg Manager, customers.Build, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes, services and usage of end user products. Validate the product post feature development or bug fixes.Formalize and follow-up businesses with software development entities and he is a key player in innovation. Ensure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.Perform root cause analysis on functional issues and communicate it developers, QA to address it.
 

Technical, Tools and skills

Basic knowledge of API, XML, Json formats.Good to have knowledge of Edifact & Protobuf.Agile mindset.SAFe knowledge good to have.
