Techinfra Platforms is a key team that delivers infrastructure solutions and capabilities for the bank. The team adopts industry trend and best practices working closely with IT vendors, internal stakeholders like architecture, application delivery teams to ensure platform capabilities and features are market leading. It also drives ING global engineering standardization and contribute to global engineering excellence.
Reporting to the IT Area lead, Product Delivery Lead is a key position which would not only plan and delivery the initiatives of the area by working with various chapter leads and squads but also a key PoC from the tribe responsible with external (to the area) stakeholders communication. You'll be responsible for the development, management and lifecycle of technology products, services, channel delivery and processes within one or more of these areas.
What you’ll do …
Change delivery planning, tracking along with strategy and roadmap development.Lead a team responsible for individuals and squads, both internal and through preferred suppliers (onshore or offshore). Builds and expands the engineering practice in the teams.Deliver with squads on the portfolio for this year, while making sure the teams operate in an Agile way of working.Functionally lead a group of experts, IT architects, Chapter Lead & lead engineers to translate the business priorities into a high-level design ready for the squads to prioritise and build.Responsible for IT Health (system maintenance, incident, and problem management), risk, security, and LCM of the products in their tribe or area.Responsible for defining product and service boundaries and reliable API based contracts to enable self-service and automated product provisioning as much as practical.Ensure the Infrastructure architecture and solutions are provided into portfolio.Support cross cutting design concerns for Delivery Tribes, Security and Domain / Platform ArchitectsSupport performance and capacity issues or constraints on infrastructure or applications running on the private cloud infrastructure.What we’re looking for…
Demonstrated depth of experience in the fundamentals of at least one core pillar of CJE i.e. product management, process, or channel optimisation Full stack understanding including private cloud, operating systems (Linux and windows), database technology, automation tools like Ansible. Understanding of container platform technology and PowerShell scripting would be beneficial. Experience with managing financial targets and in a in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development.Someone who has a good mix of technical Project Management experience with Agile experience with at least 15years from IT industry (not necessarily banking domain) Creative and an out-of-the box thinker who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.What’s in it for you?
