OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
The Product development researcher is responsible for turning technologies into superior consumer products, delivering innovative and affordable solutions that build business and drive consumer insights. The role will support product development team via conducting experiments by applying scientific knowledge to convert ideas to execution. The role will also lead the key life cycle management along with regulatory and quality assurance for ensuring compliance of our products. The role will ensure productive interface with our external partners and internally across the seamless technical community.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in pharmacy esp pharmaceutics or pharmaceutical formulation and with a minimum of 1-3 years of formulation development experience.

You will report to the Senior Scientist/Director Product development and working closely with cross-functional teams to develop the products and support current marketed products.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Delivers executional excellence in Product Design/Development procedural work and experimentation and applies this knowledge to provide foundational understanding and capability for the team,
Contribute to the planning and execution of a broad range of technical tests, summarize these tests independently, and make correlations to in-depth observations.
Responsible for samples or prototyping development, running lab test routines, creating and updating specs based on standard information, developing / executing changes in standard technical solutions for meeting consumer propositions
Executed experiments in lab with defined target product profile and critical quality attributes
Define scale up plans to transfer the product from lab scale to production scale
Prepare, review and seek approval for the different technical documents such as learning plan, development reports
Leading key Life Cycle Management interventions along with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance to ensure our products remain fully compliant.
Creation and approval of Technical Standards and partnership with GPS for documents that form part of external Submissions.
Lead Change management and issue Investigation.
Qualifying Materials/Products/Suppliers to provide Savings as well as Business Continuity options in the event of Supply interruptions.
Develop Qualification protocols & reports and requires strong partnership with the contract manufacturers and all internal functions.
Identifying and executing “Technical Transfers” where changes of product sourcing between various external and in-house partners can provide more advantageous Supply Chains.
Ensuring productive interfaces with our external Contract Manufacturing partners and internally across the Seamless Technical Community (MPD, ESS, R&D, IDM, QA, GPS etc.). This will require travel (
