Product Design Engineer Job Description **What is the job about?** As a Product Design Engineer in HVAC OEM, you will focus on mechanical design from idea to start of production. You will verify your solution by using different methods like calculation, simulation, and testing. You will be a part of an experienced small focus team with vast knowledge in composite/plastic designs. Using a broad number of stakeholders inside and outside Grundfos we design, verify, specify, and deliver the base for start of production. You will develop and design mechanical components for Grundfos according to request of our customers and requirements. Our team also support production in maintaining existing products within mechanics. You will be a part of a team of ten colleagues who has a common goal to support and deliver composite solutions to our OEM customers. The team members are sitting partly in Denmark and partly in Serbia, but we collaborate with people globally. **Your main responsibilities** : + Participate in the concept phase and find solutions to meet our customers need. + Develop, design, and document the mechanical components considering requirements, best practice, and ways of working. + Secure needed and timed involvement from stakeholders. + Verify design for mass production, using tolerance calculation and simulation tools. + Support Operations in production. + Maintain running products within mechanic related issues. + Deliver individual designs as a part of the whole design team deliveries. + Design 3D and 2D in Catia. **Your background** : + Master’s, or bachelor’s degree within technical mechanics engineering or mechanical design + Stable experience in designing in 3D/2D CAD, preferable Catia. + Experience in designing composite/plastic components with respect to the related processes. + Knowledge in injection molding and processes. + Quality oriented in deliveries. + Experience in following developed processes within mechanical engineering. + Experience in calculations and evaluate the outcome as a part of the design verification either by simulation or tests. + Advanced English language level. + 5+ yearsrelevant work experiencewithin designing composite/plastic components **What’s in it for you?** What are your goals?
