Product Design Engineer - Contract Position

**This is a 6 month contract position**

We’re looking for a technical Product Design Engineer to join our team to transform ideas into production-ready 3D CAD files and accurate 2D drawings.

Your role here

From Day 1, your technical ability to interpret and develop detailed drawings and the imagination to creatively solve the packaging challenges is put into action. You will partner with our international sales teams; establish and share project goals, deliverables, and timing for the project. You will engage closely with clients at the onset of the project and will use outside engineering teams, design firms, and our internal design team to bring design concepts to commercialization. You will also be able to develop robust 3D CAD models and build technical line drawings for client and manufacturer review.

Your experience and background

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related product

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Ability to present in front of small teams or clients

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Pro-active personality with the ability to adhere to deadlines

Knowledge of other 3D CAD software (preferred)

Experience with operating 3D printing machines (preferred) and blow/injection molding tool design (preferred)
