Role Overview
This role sets the art direction at a world-class level, ensuring that visual design across our products meets the highest standards of creativity, cohesion, and craft—on par with premier design agencies. The ideal candidate is not only a master of visual design principles, but also capable of influencing the broader organization’s design culture, evolving our design system, and infusing every user touchpoint with brand-defining aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities
• Art Direction & Visual Mastery: Establish and uphold a distinguished visual language that guides the organization’s digital experiences. Set a visual benchmark on par with leading agencies.
• Design System Stewardship: Evolve our design system with new components, patterns, and interaction models that maintain brand integrity while fostering innovation at scale.
• End-to-End Product Design: Lead design initiatives from research and conceptualization through to high-fidelity designs and final handoffs, ensuring each stage embodies a refined visual sensibility.
• User-Centered Excellence: Infuse human-centered design principles throughout the creative process, resulting in interfaces that are both intuitive and visually captivating.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the visual strategy aligns with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Trend Analysis & Innovation: Monitor emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to push the aesthetic boundaries, continually refreshing and elevating our brand’s visual identity.
• Organizational Influence: Mentor peers and guide teams in best practices, fostering a design-forward culture and raising the visual quality bar across the entire product portfolio.
• Project Management: Juggle multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines and communicating progress with clarity and confidence to all involved stakeholders.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in User Interface Design, Graphic Design, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in user interface design, graphic design, or a related field.
