Match Group is hiring a Product Designer to join a team dedicated to creating innovative social and dating experiences for underserved communities. We’re behind platforms like BLK for the Black community, Chispa for the Latinx community, and Yuzu for the Asian community. This is a unique opportunity to design meaningful spaces where people from these communities can interact, form connections, and build relationships. We’re on the lookout for a talented Product Designer who thrives with solving complex problems and creating exceptional user experiences. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values quality, user-centered design, and data-driven decisions. If you have a strong portfolio, a knack for both strategic thinking and design craft, and love working cross-functionally, we want to hear from you.
When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas, LA, or NYC office 2 days/week.How you'll make an impact:You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, analytics, and researchers to design intuitive and beautiful user experiences.You will break down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions that meet user needs and business goals.You will conduct, analyze and utilize user research and insights to inform your design decisions.You will understand how data and key metrics guide your design decisions for the best possible outcomes for the user and businessYou will create sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet a high standard of quality and craft.You will develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate and validate design concepts.You will contribute to or maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across products.You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure your designs are implemented effectively.You will actively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align design goals with business objectives.You will advocate for design best practices and maintain a user-first perspective in all stages of product development.We could be a match if: You have 3+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or a similar role.You have experience in designing consumer facing products, especially mobile apps.You have a portfolio showcasing your ability to solve complex problems and design exceptional user experiences.You have experience or familiarity with user research and leveraging insights to drive design decisions.You have experience with motion design or interaction design, including creating animations, transitions, and micro-interactions to enhance user experience and engagement.You enjoy pushing the boundaries and crafting visually striking, forward-thinking designs. You have experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers.You have adaptability to work in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.You have excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and ideas to various stakeholders.What sets you apart:Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.A passion for learning and staying updated on design trends and tools.Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Lottie, Rive, After Effects or similar.#LI- LH1
