What you'll do:

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Designer to help lead the development and maintenance of our design system, as well as contribute to our product design efforts. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and excellence in our design processes and product interfaces. Our product design team works across the entire design process, from discovery research to UI hand-off and implementation. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional user experiences by translating user needs and business goals into intuitive and visually appealing designs.

 

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the design system meets the needs of all stakeholders.  Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.  Create and document design specifications, ensuring they are clear and accessible for all team members.  Continuously evaluate and improve the design system based on feedback and evolving industry standards.  Advocate for a user-centered design approach and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the company. Ensure the design system adheres to accessibility guidelines and best practices to create inclusive user experiences. Brainstorm and explore multiple creative directions, articulating design decisions and recommendations grounded in data and insights. Translate design ideas into visuals and documentation to share with all parts of the business. Quickly understand constraints of a design problem, identify tradeoffs and communicate them. Execute simple and beautiful designs at a rapid cadence while balancing multiple projects/experiments at once. Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately.

Skills you have:

Bachelor's degree or certificate in Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is a plus. 1+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on design systems. Proficient in Figma (experience using autolayouts and component variants) Strong portfolio showcasing your design systems work and ability to create high-quality user interfaces for all device sizes.  Familiarity with design WCAG accessibility guidelines and best practices.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  A growth mind-set, eager for collaboration and experimentation. Strong attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Remote working requires 50 MB download and 7 MB upload internet speed. Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
