Product Developer Lead Specialist - C13 - NEW YORK
As the Liquidity Management Services (LMS) business embarks on a complex, multi-year transformation program to realize the business vision of a Real-Time, Intelligent, Responsive and Global network, it is necessary and timely to evolve and grow our product practice which will be relied upon to progress our innovation agenda. The Liquidity products Physical Pooling Product Manager role will spearhead both product development and management of our global product vision for LATAM region. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Citi's cash management landscape, driving innovation and delivering a superior client experience in LATAM. The position will support global, regional and local product managers to execute key strategic solutions relating to Services Liquidity Physical Pooling products ensuring design, development, and delivery of consistent solutions for Cash Concentration globally. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key component of the Services business and support the launch of new solutions, while harmonizing and standardizing existing features. **Responsibilities** + Contribute to the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for physical cash concentration products in LATAM. + Develop a deep understanding of the LATAM cash management landscape, including client needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics. + Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, including sales, client service, and operations. + Identify and analyze product-related opportunities. + Proactively communicate product updates, market trends, and competitive insights to relevant stakeholders. + Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new cash concentration products and features, from ideation to launch. + Collaborate closely with technology, operations, legal, compliance, and other local and global stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery. + Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and define user stories to guide development sprints. + Develop and deliver compelling presentations and training materials to educate stakeholders on product capabilities and enhancements. + Collaborate with regional teams to tailor product offerings and go-to-market strategies for specific LATAM markets. + Support the migration of clients to new and enhanced cash concentration platforms. + Continuously seek ways to improve product performance, efficiency, and client experience. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to: + Learn Strategic planning skills – create product roadmaps, commercialization plans, market assessment plans. + Build a global network of partners across Citi’s services business through interaction with regional and country product managers, client management, operations, implementations, technology and control teams + Develop a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s industry leading Liquidity products – including how these products help meet client objectives and drive revenue and sales activities + Work alongside product managers who manage Liquidity products successfully in 97+ countries – across all regions, in their daily job + Learn strong project management skills as well as get exposure to key functions related to successful product management: Product roadmap development, Revenue and Pricing analysis, Budget and Strategic planning process, Regulatory / Compliance, Technology and Operations + Learn the technology development cycle - including forecasting product demand, revenue, budget requirements and BRD support **Qualifications:** + 6-10 years of experience + Intellectual curiosity, hard working team player, analytical and conceptual thinker + Significant experience in product management. Knowledge of agile product development methodologies and tools a plus. + Knowledge of Cash Management and/or Liquidity Management and/or banking DDA platforms expectations and/or Payments systems. + Understanding of business process re-engineering will be an added advantage + Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence others including senior stakeholders without direct reporting line + Comfortable with performing data investigations that require a high degree of accuracy with tight timescales + Creative, independent, highly motivated + Organizational skills and the ability to drive complex projects + Ability to interact effectively, with clients, business partners, senior management + Self-aware with ability to adapt to various situations, rapidly assimilate and report on complex information while creating a future vision + Proven track record as change agent, with ability to encourage and embrace innovative ideas and solutions **Education:** + Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
