About the Role

Develop and promote new / existing traditional life and savings products to multi-channels to optimize new business profitability, customer needs and production growth

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collect market information and conduct internal and external product analysis for deriving the right product solutions and product strategies to meet customer needs and competitive market environmentsLead and implement product design and development cycle in line with the company strategies in various product development projectsDevelop various product literatures (e.g. contract, PGS template, memo, product specification, training materials), product launch pack and presentation materials for product launchesConduct and review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiativesOversee the quality and manage the timeline of materials delivered by team membersReview product literatures from other departments to ensure accuracy from product perspectivePrepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output.Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely mannerParticipate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely mannerAssist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

University / College graduate with 6-7 years (Manager) of working experience in insurance products development role, actuarial science or related background is preferredSelf-starter with good analytical abilityTeam player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skillsCreativity with innovative thinking and customer orientedGood communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills with business senseProject management skill is preferredProficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word ProcessingGood command of written and spoken English and Chinese
