About the Role
Product Development - Design and launch new products to fulfill customer needs, support the company’s strategic objectives and achieve the profitability targets set for the product lines & distribution channels.Own development of products across existing and future distribution partnershipsResponsible for delivering on product roadmapsWrite detailed product requirements for stakeholders and work with them to assure that the features are delivered as requestedDefine customer journey best suited for the segment and product solutionUse data-driven insights to define and analyse metrics that enhance the performance of the products and to inform future product requirementsDevelop an integrated master timing plan for the product projects considering interdependencies across the work-streams and aligned with the high-level product lifecycle phases and gates; Feasibility (Gate 1), Design (Gate 2), Build (Gate 3), Pre-Launch (Gate 4) and Post-LaunchIndependently handle and understand the requirements of medium to high complexity projects, and apply the business context and prioritization to such projectsSupport the local BU Product Head with status reports and presentation materials as required for the local Steering Committee (SC), ExCo, etc. Proactively engages present and future stakeholders throughout the project and promote a culture of pre-engagements for effective discussions and decision making.Provide directional guidance to local work-stream owners, leaders, general team members, through the regular project status meetings and general ad-hoc meetingsIdentify financial and operating risks and issues affecting the project, putting measures in place to manage and controlDay-to-day resource management across all work-streams, i.e. highlight and resolve deficiencies, ensure alignment with project’s objectives and maintain requisite level of resource efficiency/effectiveness Uses escalation matrix timely and effectively to ensure slippages and delays are communicated and managed effectivelyEffectively capture notes and minutes of meetings with clear articulation and assignment of responsibility for desired actions, and publish promptly.Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
