As a Development Chemist, you will work in the laboratory as a member of automotive refinish product development team in CIC (Allison Park, PA). You will lead independent projects or portions of larger project to develop and commercialize new adhesive and sealant products and use resources and provide technical solutions to challenging problems.

Ensure delivery of projects and achievement of milestones through planningWork with global development labs, research team, marketing team, production team and customers to lead projects forwardUse Sigma logic methodology for design of experiment and data analysisProvide support to customer and production related issuesCommunicate and share knowledge within the team and with collaboratorsMaintain a detailed laboratory notebookMaintain a safe, clean work area

Qualifications 

Degrees in Chemistry or related fieldBachelor's degree with 7+ years of formulation experience, Master’s degree with 5+ years of formulation experienceKnowledge of adhesive and testing procedures Must be a team player, collaborative and willing to give credit when appropriate
