We are looking for a new Product Development Coordinator for our McCain Appetizers organization in Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMENA). You will be based in Rilland, the Netherlands, with travel to our nearby location to Kruiningen. You will be managing and organising the sampling process withing the company, where you ensure that sample requests are processed in a timely manner. Within the Commercial Private Label team, you will also support the delivery of new products fitting the brief or existing products with saving opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in executing projects with high quality standards, in line with timing and cost targets, that you achieve whilst complying with regulatory, quality and food safety requirements.

 

Within this role, you collaborate with project team members, the commercial team, procurement, co-manufacturer, operational, technical departments, and internal or external partners to deliver new products or improved existing products.

 

Key responsibilities:

You are responsible for sample management and administration: you collect, organize and record all sample requests from sales and document their processing.You ensure the collection of required samples from sample inventory or finished goods storage in the warehouse.You prepare samples for shipment, where products are packed on dry ice.You manage sample stock and maintain inventory of sample items and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained. You collaborate with production and planning to replenish stock in a timely manner.You execute the action plan with your key stakeholders and projects team members.You assist in process optimization with technical services, operations, engineering and quality assurance.You present products with factual technical knowledge during tasting sessions or food shows.

Qualifications:

You have a first relevant experience within the food industry, and you are familiar with R&D work and processes.You have a developed understanding of Food Safety and Quality.Your passion about food, strong team spirit, and positive attitude will make working in projects easy thanks to your excellent communication skills, where you seamlessly collaborate with different stakeholders.You have a valid driver’s license
