Responsibilities:

Under the guide and supervision of the supervisor, lead major projects from inception through initial product release or conclusion.Coordinate secondary projects and support sub tasks of other projects.Execute projects with clear objectives and timely deliverables.Understand the goals and contents of research projects.Become familiar with FDA/ISO Design Control regulations and their application.Participate in cross-functional teams on new product development and manufacturing problem-solving efforts.Self-motivate to improve knowledge related to research projects by continuous assessment of current publications.Contribute to the generation of ideas and potential inventions to be used in new products.Develop and give presentations dealing with projects, proposals, designs and project status updates.Support program manager, and other project managers with Project Management techniques.Hands-on involvement with fabrication and processing.Maintain thorough lab notebook.Write engineering reports, feasibility reports.Maintain good documentation practices for all data forms, protocols, reports, and laboratory notebooks.Develop new techniques and test methods.Develop qualification test plans.Develop detailed engineering specifications; including Bill of Materials, Manufacturing procedures, Sterilization procedures, and Materials Management documents.Write SOP’s and perform validations on test methods.Set up, adjust and operate production equipment and analysis instruments such as microscopes, tensile tester, viscometer, chemical balances, micrometers, calipers, and other equipment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.)  degree in any of the engineering and/or business administration fields. Master degree is preferred or in process. and 3+ years’ experienceBilingual, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution and other statistical techniques, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Design software; Development software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
