Your Role:

We are currently seeking a Product Development Engineer II for a permanent role within the Filtration R&D group at MilliporeSigma Process Solutions business unit.  In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing novel products used in the processing and purification of pharmaceutical and biotech product streams. You will work at our Bedford, MA and Jaffrey, NH locations. 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in an engineering role

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperienced with thermoplasticsExperienced in product/equipment designProficient in engineering, problem solving, experimental design and data analysisProficient with CAD software packages / techniquesKnowledge of manufacturing and process development activities such as qualification, validation, design of experiments, FMEA and design for manufacturingSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, capable of interacting effectively with people in all areas of the company including Plant Operations, R&D, Quality, and Product ManagementKnowledge of biotech manufacturing processes, especially TFF related to cell and gene therapy applications
