Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trend-savvy Product Specialist to support the development, approval, and execution of innovative product lines. This role requires a strong understanding of design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will be the go-to expert for creative assets, product approvals, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate Specialized Expertise

Stay informed on retail trends, competitive landscape, and product innovation.Maintain deep knowledge of all creative assets available for product development.

Drive Innovation

Identify new product opportunities and ensure offerings remain on-trend and competitive.

Deliver on Results

Create trend and inspiration boards to guide product development.Lead weekly product approval meetings, ensuring all materials and backup documentation are prepared.Manage the routing and tracking of submissions through MyMediaBox and email, ensuring timely reviews and approvals.Organize and maintain all product samples for reference and presentation.

Meet Financial Targets

Understand and support the achievement of financial goals through strategic product planning and execution.

Communicate with Impact

Provide clear updates to licensees and partners regarding creative assets, timelines, and changes.Capture and communicate feedback from product development meetings, ensuring actionable insights are shared via MyMediaBox.

Build Long-Term Relationships

Develop strong relationships with internal commercial teams to support the product approval process.Serve as the primary contact for licensees regarding product approvals and creative asset inquiries.Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the team

Design: Ability to interpret and execute design direction effectively.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and organizational skills.Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; working knowledge of InDesign, Keynote, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Requisitos

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field.2 – 4 years of experience in product development, licensing, or creative project management.Experience with digital asset management systems (e.g., MyMediaBox) is a plus.Passion for product innovation, branding, and consumer trends.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
