Job Summary: To assist in the company’s new product development process – from prototype development to commercialization, and the continuous improvement and maintenance of our current products with the application of new/improved technologies in processed meats manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new formulations and packaging processes for products.
Implement continuous improvement plans for current product lines, focusing on cost, quality, and profitability.
Ensure product viability through material sourcing and alternate formulations/packaging/process development.
Monitor business performance of assigned products, ensuring quality and cost competitiveness.
Review and ensure compliance with product safety and government regulations.
Provide technical training to partners regarding product formulations, packaging, and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, or related fields.At least 1 year of experience as a QA, Processing, or Product Development Specialist in food manufacturing.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
