Through validation, curation and recommendations across all channels—be it web, app, extension, or email—we strive to ensure best of web value for our customers. We are seeking an experienced Product Director to lead the development of products and solutions that deepen our direct, loyal relationships with customers. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will play a critical role in fostering innovation, driving customer-centric solutions, and ensuring rapid delivery of impactful products.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDefine and champion a strategic vision for customer engagement and loyalty products, aligning with Ziff Davis Shoppings mission and business objectives.Own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.Collaborate closely with the VP of Product to align product initiatives with broader organizational goals.Customer-Centric InnovationFoster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and experimentation within the product team.Partner with user research and analytics teams to uncover deep insights into customer behaviors, needs, and pain points.Continuously identify opportunities to deliver value through new features and solutions that enhance the customer journey and drive loyalty.Rapid Validation and DeliveryImplement a rapid validation mindset, emphasizing quick experimentation, iterative design, and data-driven decision-making.Use prototypes, MVPs, and testing frameworks to quickly validate concepts and ensure efficient resource utilization.Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and validation to launch and iterative improvement, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Collaboration and ExecutionWork closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data teams to translate product ideas into actionable plans.Champion agile methodologies to create fast, flexible, and collaborative workflows that accelerate time-to-market.Proactively manage trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to maintain momentum and achieve milestones.Performance and ImpactDefine success metrics for products and features, using analytics tools to measure outcomes and inform future iterations.Advocate for a test-and-learn approach, leveraging A/B testing and experimentation to optimize performance and customer experience.Translate key insights into actionable improvements, ensuring sustained product impact and growth. Required Skills and QualificationsExperience7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.Proven success in delivering innovative consumer-facing products that drive engagement, loyalty, and business impact.Experience in e-commerce or loyalty programs is preferred.Strategic and Analytical ThinkingStrong ability to synthesize customer insights, competitive trends, and market opportunities into actionable strategies.Skilled at leveraging data to validate hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and measure impact.Fostering Innovation and ExperimentationDemonstrated ability to foster a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration within product teams.Experience in validating concepts through MVPs, prototypes, and agile testing frameworks.Leadership and CollaborationExceptional leadership skills with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams and driving results.Strong communication and storytelling abilities to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.Technical AcumenFamiliarity with modern product development practices and technologies, including APIs, data platforms, and agile methodologies.Ability to work effectively with engineering teams to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.Customer FocusPassion for understanding and solving customer problems with empathy and creativity.Proficient in user research, journey mapping, and creating frictionless end-to-end experiences.
