More information about BROMMA can be found onwww.bromma.com PURPOSE OF THE POSITION + Support the production in terms of Bromma CSP spreader product line. + Plan resources and support electrical engineers in their tasks. + Develop the team and their competences. + Take part in and contribute to the research and development plan of the product business lines (CSP). + Develop new solutions according to internal or external customer requirements. + Take one or more key responsibilities within the R&D strategy roles and competence areas. + Interact internally with sales, product managers, production, sourcing and customer engineering. + Interact externally with customers on a global scale. + Work directly with other engineering disciplines to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, carry ideas through final product design and rapidly respond to design changes. + Work towards product design improvement (ECR). + Order design management. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES + Set up, monitor and update Process of Workflow, Job Description, Parental Job Scope, Product Care for Product Engineering. + Evaluate, approve and release new component design for product improvement, safety, cost, stock, functionality and manufacturability. + Daily check and update all change request sheets (Engineering Change Request Sheet). Assign and filter change request task accordingly. + Daily check, update revised, released design and drawing based on all change requests (Engineering Change Request). Assign and filter change request task accordingly. + Work together with Cross Functional Sourcing of technical consultation according to designated scope. + Manage the Parental of Spreaders according to the Parental assigned in Vault. + Provide alternative or improvement solutions to change requests. + Follow up and liaise with respective departments to track work progress for all change requests to ensure change requests will be delivered and meet technical specification requirements. + Work with external departments for design resources to ensure quality design, cost and performance. + Prepare and publish service bulletin (internal/external) regarding the changes done with Engineering Change Request (ECR). + Approve and release new replacement components for cost down and functionality. + Establish, consult and evaluate test procedures for quality assurance of finished product. + QSR related to parental changes (managed in ECR). + Maintain Product Database in Vault. + Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks. Participating in professional societies POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education + Relevant Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline Experience + Minimum 5 years of applicable working experience with relevant electrical circuitry design work + Experience in design of container handling equipment (spreaders), etc. Skills + Relevant experience with design tools such as EPLAN CAD S/W + Understanding of industrial standards related to machinery, control system with feedback loop and power supply (low voltage) + CE compliances for electricals + Know-how on electrical control system + Write professional analytic and technical reports Competencies + Good technical analysis + Delivering results according to plan + Problem-solving mentality + Fluent in spoken and written English + Self initiative + Self-driven, proactive and target oriented Bromma is part of Kalmar (Nasdaq Helsinki:KALMAR).
