The NPI Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of new model repair qualification in TCP for handset, enclosure, display, and new business in coordination with TCP stakeholders for new model and new business development as per defined AOP target.Coordinates to each assigned new model engineer per business unit (Handset, Display and Enclosure) to drive the execution of new model repair qualification. Sets-up regular cadence on progress and possible roadblocks within the TCP support team to be able to hit the agreed target. Coordinates to Product Engineering manager for items that needs actions from TLC/Other repair regions.Monitors progress and ensures completion within the agreed timing all qualification requirements in line with Advanced Quality Planning (AQP). This includes completion of all standard documents such as JA’s/WI’s, Control Plan, FMEA, System Set-up (DAX, BOM Picking list, SKU’s), Jigs, Line Readiness, and other necessary qualification items.Monitors progress and ensures completion within the agreed timing of all internal and externally sourced main parts, small parts, and adhesives. Ensures new business is launched as per agreed timeline and coordinates to TCP stakeholders for the developments needed to qualify and launch the new business.Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
College graduate of any of the following courses: BS Engineering (ME, IE, Quality, ECE, Electronics Engineering)At least 3 years practical experience in New Model Development preferably with experience in mobile repair industry.At least with 3 years practical experience process design with the ability to demonstrate knowledge on complete execution of a set project plan.Proven project management skills and experience
