Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $162,344 - $211,500 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Work with Quality Assurance to help create tests and documentation that will improve solutions. Create and release examples and tutorials that are shipped with our products. Develop and/or refine methodology employed in creating and using prototypes, and maximizing the value of our prototyping solution. Ensure existing customers maximize the value they receive by developing and enhancing methodology that exploits capabilities. Interface with customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design, manufacturing processes, or use complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments. Communicate software problems to product development. Assist other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms. Provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors. Use advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. Debug complex functional problems on digital circuits using VLSI CAD tools. Remodel small integrated circuit blocks to fit in the FPGA prototyping flow. Analyze RTL netlist to evaluate whether VLSI CAD resulted in an optimal solution. Implement scripts for tight integration between VLSI CAD tools and user environments.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Product Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Working with VLSI, Digital Design Verification, FPGA Prototyping, Synthesis, C/C++, Verilog, and VHDL.
2. FPGA design, FPGA tools and STA.
3. Debug of RTL designs and simulation.
4. EDA tools for FPGA synthesis: Vivado or Quartus.
30% domestic and international travel required. 50% telecommuting permitted within commutable distance. [Hybrid role.]
