Education Qualification Bachelor degree in Engineering required, MS degree preferred No. of Years of Experience 3-6 years. related work experience in the automotive industry Professional Exposure (Technical Skills)

Strong knowledge related to engine/powertrains. Program management skills. Able to handle several complex projects at the same time.

 

Preferred previous experiences Automotive part engineering.  Ability to read and interpret prints, use engineering judgment and communicate with all activities. Functional Skills Strong powertrain background is manadatory, analytical ability, attention to detail, ability to work across matrix organization, able to support multiple projects simultaneously. Behavioral Skills

Good English oral and written communication skills and other Asia Pacific language

Good in interpersonal and communication skills with capability to work independently. Strong organizational skills.

Special Knowledge/Skills  Required Excellent in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint software.  Ford Engineering Systems, a plus Any Others Ability to travel 20%. Deliver all engineering requirements to support the launch of prioritized IMG Region Cycle Plan projects Develop specifications that meet market requirements and achieve a level of Quality expected of Ford Motor Company, Motorcraft part service parts and remanufacturing parts Complete SREA requests within 30 days Evaluate & identify potential reman suppliers.  Establish detailed understanding of Asia Pacific supplier products, engineering capabilities. Provide engineering support for business cases by providing engineering specifications, drawings, developing & maintaining core groups, and application charts & BOMs Support product launches:

           - Coordinate & execute small parts sign offs.

           - Ensure all DV & PV testing are completed in time & successfully

           - Deliver engineering sign off & achieve engineering complete status

Release all new reman and non-reman product’s BOM & part numbers into WERS and/or CMMS Partner with Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Upstream organizations to deliver projects Coordinate & communicate engineering activities between markets and central team.

            - Establish knowledge bank for test preparation, procedure know how, facility/equipment set up, equipment maintenance/operation/calibration.
