Performs conventional, less complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, preparation of specifications, process studies, or research investigations. Position requires a B.S. degree in engineering with normally one to three years of related experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Through delegation to subordinates, conduct and coordinate the appropriate engineering functions for system design and support, new product development and maintenance of existing products. Lead in the development of related program schedules and budget needs in accordance with the profit and strategic plans of Danfoss using required product development procedures. Initiate the development of system and new product specifications, in accordance with market needs and reliability requirements. Review progress; evaluate results and initiate changes as appropriate to designs, test methods or equipment. Initiate new product design reviews with, and provides pertinent information to, the manufacturing and marketing functions. Evaluate all means and sources of information to assure manufacturability, cost effectiveness and reliability of the assigned product line(s). Maintain close liaison with the manufacturing function during the introduction and development of new products, resolving design related production problems and non-conformance to product specification, prior to production release. Maintain close liaison with the Marketing/Sales function and end customers, as related to application reviews, new product requirements, modifications of existing products, customer prototype qualification test requirements and to resolve product performance deficiencies when called for. Initiate and promote the generation of new ideas; document it appropriately for possible future patent application and protection.

• Excellent knowledge of Hydraulics customers and market in China
• University degree, major in fluid power or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good understanding of hydraulics application engineering, especially system design and solution
• Excellent management experience and strong project management skills with respect to applications engineering and product development.
• Excellent experience in product development.
• More than 1~3 years experiences
• Excellent hands-on PC-based computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), Autocad. Pro/Engineer/UG
