Main responsibilities:

Design feasibility AnalysisDevelop 2D conceptsAdherence to Product Development CycleManage Product level requirements and compliancesConduct Design ReviewsPrepare DFMECACollaborate with RAMS team for FTA, Safety, Reliability and LCC assessmentsPrepare Validation Plan, Specifications and ReportsUnderstanding of Design principles and StandardizationContinuous Improvements to improve product reliability and reduce LCCEnsure compliance to global standards and applicationsAble to study, interpret and prepare detailed Electrical/Electronics schemesAble to perform Design calculationsOwn and manage Design deliverables with First Time Right approach and ensure OTDTravelling to Field for Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Troubleshooting activitiesEstablish Communication with global product teamsInnovation and Creative thinkingKnowledge on DFM, DFA, FTAPossess strong presentation and communication skills

B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics

Professional Experience

5 – 10 years in Rail industry

Prior knowledge in Microprocessor based Electronics Brake System would be an added advantage

Circuit Simulators: Proficient in Simulation and Report generation

AUTOCAD – added advantage: Proficient in Drafting (2D)

Electrical & Electronics Symbols and Schematics: Proficient

MS Office tools: Proficient

Languages

Fluency in English

Should work in HSR campus and report to the Manager in Hosur.

Should be flexible enough to accommodate outstation tasks.
