Job Description

We are looking for Product Engineer Interns to join our 2025 summer internship program in Graham, KY!

 

An internship at Ensign Bickford Aerospace and Defense (EBAD) provides real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you while collaborating with industry experts to solve real-world challenges!

 

Responsibilities/daily duties:

The Product Engineer Interns will work within our Manufacturing Operations in support of all aspects of product engineering including, but not limited to:continuous improvementdevelopment of Standard Work packageslean cell conversion and statistical process control implementationmanufacturing cell designAssist in solving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures, and implementing corrective actionsAssist in the Implementation of Lean methodologies including standard work, point of use tooling, material presentation, and process improvementsInterface with production personnel including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisorsWork on robust projects that prepare you for a full-time opportunity after graduationShowcase your project outcomes to leadership at the end of the summerSocialize through teambuilding and networking events

Requirements:

Candidate pursuing an undergraduate degree in an engineering disciplineStrong Microsoft Office SkillsExperience with CAD and hands on experience using manufacturing tools preferred
