Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this position perform engineering analyses, create detailed designs, and execute prototype builds – all contributing to the overall execution of department projects and functional initiatives. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment while contributing to team objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and update drawingsAssist with documentation to support engineering notification launchesExecute 3D prints and clean prototypesAssemble prototypesCoordinate with the machine shop to execute brass prototypesAssist in testing prototypes and existing products for root cause analysisPerform other product engineering duties as required.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering program (BSME)50% of required engineering coursework completedBASIC SKILLS
