ATI is seeking to hire a Product Engineer for our Specialty Rolled Product business unit. This position reports to the Director, Technology and will have an office location in our Washington, PA facility. Responsibilities + Accountability & Ownership of assigned products from inquiry through shipment + Serves as expert in all facets of assigned products. This includes flow path, manufacturing set ups and controls, specifications, technical characteristics and customer requirements + Develop, document and implement manufacturing, customer and product trials to continuously improve product attributes, tighten tolerances or reduce cost and flow time + Interface with customer to improve product, resolve issues and grow our business + Identify and develop opportunities for new grades/products or alterations of existing grades to meet new customer business specifications and opportunities + Lead customer qualification programs for new products, customers and applications + Review customer inquiries to determine capabilities of assigned products to meet the requirements and design and implement a flow path to do this + Work with the Marketing & Sales to evaluate new customer opportunities and develop a cost competitive
