JR65255 Product Engineer - NAND Silicon Design Validation (SDV)As a 3D NAND Silicon Design Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working on a team of engineers who will collaborate globally with NAND Process R&D, design and various other engineering teams throughout the product development to complete and achieve product qualification. You will be responsible for developing, deploying and implementing holistic design validation plans in pre-silicon phase heavily on datapath and working on post silicon validation for 3D NAND product for production and/or test chip vehicles to facilitate learning for production designs. As a key contributor to silicon validation efforts with strong focus on high speed datapath, you will ensure resolution, closure and propagation of issues identified during post silicon design validation pertaining to business processes. Tools used for validation include Verilog simulation, bench testing to scope and analyze waveforms (pairing with usage of oscilloscope etc), creation/optimization of NAND firmware in collaboration with DE for debug/validation/pathfinding purpose. You are needed to refine and develop best known methods and automation for design validation of current and future products.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of next-generation devices by partnering with various Engineering, Manufacturing and Business Units groups to develop and ship successful products and end-systems
Debug & resolve yield, quality and reliability failures (on device and design related issues with heavy focus on high speed datapath) using both hands on and data analysis techniques
Support design verification and solve critical technical problems using simulations, lab tools, and data analysis techniques
Utilize engineering bench and testers to perform device validation, characterization, and electrical failure analysis
Identify design marginalities and recommend design fixes for circuit-related problems in relation to datapath
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems using model based problem solving techniques and facilitation of cross-functional focus teams
Create and maintain design and validation documentation
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of experience
Good understanding of Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) device physics, & SSD
Knowledge of CMOS circuit design, CAD/Simulation and test flow and system architecture is an added advantage
Knowledge and experienced in component and system level testing, analysis and debugging will be an added advantage
Strong drive and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas/concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
