(UL / NOM / IEC, etc). Implement cost reduction projects.Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing and Production to fulfil technical requirements and assure project implementation on time.Basic mechanical design, tolerance analysis and statistics. Create and test prototypes. Design using NX or ProE Creo software, select materials and surface finish, create drawings.Mechanical simulation, knowledge of materials standars (ASTM, DIN ISO, ANSI, etc.) Generate prints, publish Bill of Materials (BOM), hold tooling and component design reviews, provide management updates, resolution to PPAPs and deviation requests.Support production line to improve FPY, Quality (NCCs), Product delivery on time.
