Role summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Product Engineer SIHI Dry/Boost System (M/F/T) for the R&D team PE vacuum SIHI dry/boost products at our location in Itzehoe at the earliest possible starting date. In this role, you will significantly be involved in the design and product maintenance of the standard SIHI dry and boost and systems.

Your tasks:

Mechanical design of standard systems of standard SIHI dry and boost and systems according to defined guidelines and standardsContact person for the order engineering for technical questions concerning standard productsCarrying out and evaluating the necessary calculations for optimum component design, e.g., for piping, separators, base frames, etc., in cooperation with GTECCoordination of quality notifications in terms of drawings, master data and BOMsApplication of design engineering principles regarding standardized modules, configurability, and design in line with function and production requirementsExecution of FMEA's and risk assessments for the designed productsPreparation and review of the documents required for the standard products incl. accessories, such as material master data, parts lists, 3D models and 2D drawings in cooperation with GTECPreparation of documentation for the designed standard systems (operating instructions, as well as service instructions) in cooperation with GTECCross-departmental clarification of problems, e.g., quality issuesExecution of further product engineering tasks and projects according to the specifications of the product management, projects, and coordination of the supporting GTEC resourcesProduct standardization and rationalization as dictated by the 0perating model and development priorities.Creation of work instructions, quality plans, technical specifications and supply chain support

Your profile:

Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or comparableIdeally several years of professional experience in mechanical engineeringDepth knowledge of ERP, PLM (SAPR3, Windchill)  and CAD is availableKnowledge about FEM simulationsDepth knowledge of MS-Office applications is availableTeam player, high level of personal responsibilityGood communication skillsExcellent written and spoken English/German skills
