Location:

The Product Engineer Slurry Materials is located in Charlotte, NC with 10% travel to meet business needs. 

 

Your Role:

You will join an international team of engineers and process experts within the Klebosol Slurry Business Unit.  The Product Engineer Slurry Materials leverages their technical background to collaborate with external customers, the commercial team, and the global manufacturing sites.  They strive to understand customer issues, identify solutions, and coordinate internal efforts to resolve customer issues and support expansion of the business.  You will act as a technical product steward to identify high leverage continuous improvement opportunities for our products, coordinate change implementation which impacts customers, manage projects, lead technical investigations, and help shepherd new product qualification with our customers.

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree in Chemical engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or equivalent technical discipline5+ years of experience in process engineering in a high-tech manufacturing environmentCollaborative & adaptable mindset – able to excel in a multi-disciplinary team-based environment.10% domestic and internal travel required to meet business needs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience working in a semiconductor fab – ideally as a CMP process engineer.Experience working in an ISO9000/IATF16949 mfg. environment – comfortable with change control, statistical process control, Lean methodologies, structured problem solving, and driving continuous improvement.Experience in a customer facing role or with supplier management and communication.Experience leading short and long-term multi-faceted technical projects.Fluency in French, German, or Mandarin is a plus.
