Location: Staunton, VA in office 5 days per week

 

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2025

What you will do:

Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems under the direction of the assigned engineer Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Successfully completed Thermodynamics I, and Fluid Mechanics Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Staunton, VA office
