Product Engineering Specialist
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Product Engineering Specialist** to join our team specializing in **Engineering** for our **Projects** **Department** in **San Fernando de Henares, Spain.**   This role requires up to 25% of domestic traveling and 50% of international travel. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways** : + Ensuring Reliability: By managing and maintaining BOP dedicated PLC software programs, you'll ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical systems. + Field Support: Your configuration and support for teams during the commissioning of PLC systems (Schneider) will be crucial for smooth and successful project implementations. + Knowledge Sharing: Supporting design teams with lessons learned and troubleshooting will help improve future designs and customer satisfaction. + Lifecycle Management: Performing technical tasks across the product life cycle will ensure that products meet quality standards from development through to deployment. + Central Coordination: Acting as a central point of coordination and decision-making will streamline processes and enhance communication across teams. + Problem Solving: Your troubleshooting skills will be vital in resolving issues quickly, minimizing downtime, and maintaining system integrity. + Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers to address their needs and concerns will build strong relationships and trust. + Continuous Improvement: Your involvement in various stages of the product life cycle will contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the business unit. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:**   + Technical Expertise: Knowledge and experience with PLC software, particularly Schneider systems, to manage and maintain them effectively. + Field Experience: Hands-on in configuring and commissioning PLC systems, ensuring you can support teams on-site efficiently. + Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, sharing lessons learned to support design teams and improve future projects. + Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with field teams, design teams, and customers, ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/ Experience:** + College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. + Work experience in a relevant discipline area would be required with a demonstrated track record.
