Product Enhancement Support Scientist

As a Scientist on the R&D Product Enhancement Support Team, you will join our cross-functional research & development team focused on post- launch product development and on-market enhancements. The successful candidate will plan, conduct, and analyze experiments designed to complete the development cycle of our new products. The individual will be highly motivated, possess strong attention to detail, be adaptable, and be a willing partner in a highly collaborative environment.

What will you do?

Prepare materials, perform experiments, gather data, perform analyses and formulate next steps

Meticulous documentation of experiments and protocols

Drive assigned tasks within larger projects

Work cross-functionally on multi-disciplinary projects

Effectively communicate progress throughout the organization

Work with transfer teams to ensure products and processes are transferred to end users

Develop SOPs, training materials, and help conduct trainings for end users

Collaborate on product issue Investigations with internal teams and/or suppliers

What do you need to succeed?

BS in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related discipline with at least 4+ years of relevant industry experience.

Demonstrated laboratory skills.

Strong understanding of experimental design.

Enthusiasm for data analysis and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with JMP or similar statistical software is extremely beneficial.

Experience creating SOP’s and work instructions and/or training materials for technicians and other scientists is also extremely beneficial.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain well-organized laboratory records.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Well-versed in safe laboratory practices.

What you can expect from us:  

Salary range is $72,000 to $75,000
