The VP Product General Manager is responsible for the overall success of a product line or business unit, combining strategic leadership with operational oversight. This role involves managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, driving business growth, and ensuring that products meet financial and market objectives. The Product GM works closely with executive leadership to set the direction for the business unit and is accountable for its performance. Additionally, this role provides profit and loss (P&L) ownership for the assigned product line and is expected to lead efforts that increase revenues and decrease costs over time.
What you’ll be doing
Own a product P&L, manage assigned product line profitability, business cases for new product innovation, major enhancements, roadmaps for revenue growth, competitive differentiation and customer satisfaction.Lead the overall strategy and operations for a product line or business unit, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing innovative products, and optimizing product performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, software development and operations, to ensure product success.Work across all functional areas to define the go-to-market strategy, collaborating on product positioning including key benefits, functions, usability and messaging for target customers. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product decisions. Represent the business unit in discussions with executive leadership and key stakeholders.Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate.
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.15+ years of experience in product management, with extensive experience in a general management role.We strongly prefer prior experience in the healthcare reimbursement space (HRA, FSA, Lifestyle Accounts…) Proven track record of leading successful product lines or business units and driving business growth.Strong strategic and operational skills, with the ability to manage complex product lifecycles.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience working at the executive level.PMP Certification highly preferred.

Salary Range $209000.00 To $356000.00 / year Benefits & PerksThe compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives and restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range in addition to a full range of benefits including:
