We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to drive intelligent automation and cognitive capabilities for our Animal Health (AH) Business. This role will be responsible for leading the strategy and development of the architecture and strategy for solutions related to Product Information Management, driving Launch Excellence and Product Launch improvements within our AH business. From designing strategic roadmaps to implementing and operating innovative automation solutions.

We are the Information Technology (IT) organization for our Animal Health company, responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide intelligent automation solutions that drive data-focused, self-driving capabilities and ensure reliable information management. The position reports to the Animal Health IT Intelligent Automation & Enterprise Data lead.
Responsibilities
Developing solution architecture roadmaps, optimizing processes from design to implementation of relevant enterprise data use cases, like Product Information Management
Focus on analyzing, designing, and developing solutions and implementation plans based on a current versus future state solution and reference architectures that aligns to business needs
Leading the solution design through creative thinking and translating business needs into both functional and technical detailed requirements
Overseeing the implementation of solutions, collaborating with a small team of expert roles located in different geographies and applying best practices across different project phases
Coaching other team members along their learning journey to scale our practice and drive impactful results
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in an IT Product Owner/Business Analyst Role
2+ years experience with solution architecture
2+ years experience with product information management
Knowledge of life sciences or healthcare industry
Knowledge of Agile values, principles & practices
Experience in Release Management, Solution Architecture, Design Applications, Systems Integration, Requirements Management, Data Modeling, System Designs
Strong understanding of IT architecture and business process management
Leadership skills to guide the implementation of high-level requirements, principles, and models
Ability to guide solution decisions and provide the “blueprint” for engineering / project teams
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with excellent emotional intelligence and decision-making skills
