Product Information Management (PIM) Data Specialist

We are currently looking for a PIM (Product Information Management) Data Specialist to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PIM (Product Information Management) Data Specialist to manage and enhance the quality of product data within our organization's PIM system. The PIM Product Specialist will play a critical role in executing a structured approach to the collection, creation, maintenance, and distribution of master product data, ensuring the integrity of our product information. This role involves close collaboration with the development team, marketing team, and other stakeholders to ensure that our PIM system meets customer needs and supports business growth.

1) Key responsibilities:

Product Data Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the PIM application, including data entry, loading assets, updates, and quality control.Prepare and import bulk product data updates using load files and standardized templates.Manage data requests in support of business processes, new product sales initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions.Data Quality and Continuous Improvement:Drive excellence in data quality through data cleansing and best practices for data construction.Validate and reconcile datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.Perform regular data audits to ensure compliance with established guidelines and best practices.Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate processes, and improve data quality within the PIM system.Provide input into the development of PIM data collection templates and workflows to optimize data management.Collaboration and Data Stewardship:Work collaboratively as a data steward within cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements related to PIM data.Partner with stakeholders across the organization to support business needs and ensure alignment with PIM data standards.System Support and Troubleshooting:Ensure the success of data output feeds by troubleshooting issues and making updates as required.Monitor system performance and work with IT and development teams to address any technical issues related to PIM data.

2) Key requirements:

Required Data Management Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (various lookup functions, data sorting, filtering, data manipulation, various text functions, comparison of datasets).Ability to handle repetitive tasks like data entry or auditing while maintaining high quality.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred Data Management Skills:Experience with data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation.Experience in updating data in bulk via import using load files.Familiarity with handling large datasets in Excel.Experience with systems that manage or integrate large amounts of data.Familiarity with PIM, SAP, and SFDC Commerce B2B.Communication:Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Analytical Mindset:A strong desire to understand how things work and a proactive approach to providing ideas for improvement.Technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and platforms.
