This role is pivotal in ensuring that our platform meets the evolving needs of our clients' employees, providing an intuitive, engaging, and efficient experience. The Product Innovation Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, to drive the user experience strategy and execution, aligning it with business goals and customer expectations. **Responsibilities:** - UX Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the HCS Product team, ensuring that all user interactions on the platform are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with best practices. - Platform Design: Oversee the design and development of user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance the overall user experience. - Employee-Centered Design: Advocate for and implement employee-centered design principles, ensuring that all product developments are guided by the needs and feedback of end-users. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to integrate UX into the overall product development process. - Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UX and apply this knowledge to improve our platform continuously. - Usability Testing: Establish and manage usability testing programs to gather user feedback and iterate on design solutions. - Lead the creation and refinement of design systems, style guides, and user interface components. Develop strategies to measure and improve the user experience, leveraging data-driven insights and user feedback. - Collaborate with product teams to define user requirements and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. - Oversee the execution of UX projects from concept to launch, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. - Facilitate workshops and design sprints with internal teams and clients to drive innovative solutions. - Support the development of accessibility standards to ensure the platform is usable by all employees, including those with disabilities. - Partner with external vendors and consultants to supplement internal UX capabilities as needed. **Preferred qualifications** - Master’s degree in UX Design, HCI, or a related field. - Experience with Benefits Administration platforms or HR technology products. - Knowledge of front-end development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and implementation. - Certification in UX design or product management. - Demonstrated ability to lead UX design initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. - Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and best practices. - Knowledge of Agile and Lean UX methodologies. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Experience collaborating with external partners and vendors to enhance the user experience.
