What You’ll Do

Skills desired:Strong analytics and reporting skills – Excel is a must. Create pivot tables as needed to provide insightsDevelop dashboards to visually illustrate insights Inventory Existing Alerts and Conditions:List down all the alerts and conditions from the primary New Relic account, including names, thresholds, notification channels, and configurations.This task involves documenting existing setups and doesn't require making changes or decisions.Export Dashboards:Export dashboards as JSON files from the primary New Relic account.Exporting dashboards is a straightforward process and involves following a set procedure in New Relic without altering any configurations.Document the Setup:Document the new setup of alerts, conditions, and dashboards in the sub-account for future reference.Documenting is a straightforward task that involves detailing the configurations and settings, which can be reviewed later for accuracy.Testing and Validation of Alerts and Conditions:Testing requires an understanding of the expected outcomes and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise, making it more suitable for someone with experience.Import and Review Dashboards:Importing dashboards and ensuring they display data correctly can involve troubleshooting and adjustments, which might need more oversight and knowledge of New Relic's functionalities( we will train you on this technology).Set Up Sharing and Permissions for Dashboards:Configuring sharing and permissions requires understanding the organization's structure and who needs access to what, making it a task that benefits from more oversight.
