We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Product Launch Management (PLM) team to focus on building the product launch roadmap and launch strategy for products globally. In this role you will lead the go-to-market (GTM) efforts, with principal responsibility for launch strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven with strong ownership. He/she/they should also be comfortable with the technical aspects of product development and understand priorities for next-generation and new-to-world devices to our customers. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment and communicate clearly and persuasively to drive focus and excellence. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Finance, Sales, Brand and Product Marketing, Retail, Online Experience, Legal, PR, Customer Service, and Demand and Supply Planning. He/she/they will guide all teams to make key business decisions and execute launches of products that delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive GTM strategy for new products, including but not limited to target release dates, global assortment strategy, and drive a cohesive global launch
• Build overall launch work-back-schedule, align with stakeholder teams, and track tasks and milestones to ensure a successful, on-time product launch
• Work with Product Managers, Product Marketing, and Category to drive customer need, relevant features, and launch timing for new hardware and software/features/app
• Partner cross-functionally to drive innovative marketing programs and merchandising opportunities that are impactful to the business
• Develop and present cohesive project view to leadership with business and launch strategy
• Be a voice of the customer by sharing their needs and product feedback, uncovering insights that lead to improved customer experience, product, and marketing
• Lead and drive launch efforts through owning cross-functional meetings, documentation, coordination and actual launch/shiproom, including the final product detail page review and sign-off
A day in the life
As a Product Launch Manager, you will be managing multiple new product launches at various stages. We work cross- functionally but closest with Product Management, Marketing, Category, and Demand and Supply Planning teams. In the morning, you my host a launch readiness call or have meetings with EU/MEA teams. You may then have a financial assessment and strategy review meeting with Finance and Category teams for a product you are managing. In the afternoon, you may finalize GTM documentation and prepare for leadership review before you review a product detail page with Creative and Online Experience teams. Toward the end of the day, you may follow up with action items with stakeholder teams to ensure we are on track to hit the next milestone and prepare for your GTM weekly call the next day, or hop on a call with APAC (JP, ANZ) teams to discuss product assortment strategy. Note these are just examples of various activities that could be part of a typical day.

They work with many cross-functional teams to drive decisions related to the marketing five P's (product, price, promotion, placement, and people). The PLM team operates as a hub for Product Management, Demand Planning, Finance, PR, Packaging, Marketing, Ecommerce, Online Experience, Retail, Business Development, and Customer Service teams.
