As the Product Lead, Jobs & Skills, you will play a pivotal role in our Digital initiatives around Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy. This role will focus designing, implementing, and optimizing the Jobs and Skills modules and skills taxonomy within Workday and third party tools using Skills data while aligning them with our talent strategies, workforce planning, and career development needs. As the Product Lead, you will own the product roadmap and governance, work closely with stakeholders, and drive the development and management of a comprehensive skills taxonomy framework.

Main Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Roadmap: Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for talent development and workforce planning.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other business leaders to understand their needs and gather requirements related to jobs, skills, and skills taxonomy.
Skills Taxonomy Design and Implementation: Lead the design, development, and management of a skills taxonomy within Workday that aligns with career paths, competency frameworks, and organizational standards, and supports effective skill tracking and talent mobility.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and user stories for development and configuration teams, with a focus on Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy.
Project Management and Execution: Oversee projects related to Workday or third party tools using Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy modules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new features, enhancements, and process improvements.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices: Skills digital ecosystem is still new, it is key to stay up-to-date on markets latest Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy features, as well as industry best practices, to ensure our systems are optimized and relevant to business needs. Sanofi is leveraging SaaS application, release management is also an important part of the job.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Partner with data teams to monitor and analyze workforce and skills data, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities that inform strategic workforce planning and talent development. Skills data are used everywhere, a strong understanding of integrations, data architecture and data modeling is key.
User Adoption and Support: Work with HRIS and Learning & Development teams to provide training materials and support for end-users, ensuring high adoption rates and effective usage of Jobs, Skills, and Skills Taxonomy features.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, guiding stakeholders through new processes and tools to encourage adoption and ease transition into enhanced Jobs and Skills functionalities.
About You
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, HRIS, or related role, with specific experience in skills taxonomy development, talent management principles, and workforce planning.
Proven experience managing product roadmaps, gathering requirements, and delivering enhancements in HR Tech platforms.
Proficiency with agile methodologies, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.
Proven experience with jobs and skills technologies, with a strong track record of implementing products such as Eightfold, Beamery, SkyHive, Cornerstone, or Workday Skills Cloud.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Workday's job architecture, security model, and data classification standards, in addition to having a deep understanding of data models used to store and automate workflows for jobs, skills, and other talent management uses.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and identify effective end to end solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively across global and heavily matrixed teams.
