Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Product Line Analyst Closures EMEA (m/f/d)
Role Purpose:This Product Line Analyst Closures EMEA acts like an Assistant Product Manager and provides tactical support for the day-to-day business management of the Closures EMEA Product Line team, reporting to the Product Line Manager.
Key Responsibilities:Works closely with the Product Line Manager, Product Line Specialists, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Pricing, Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, Application Engineering and Sales to:
Proactively monitor and manage customer order fulfillment performance: undated orders, sample and demo requests, backlog, inventory, quality, and other metrics. Part number assignment and loading, create, and manage workflows. Price loading and contract pricing. Create and drive Product Change Notifications as necessary. Collect and distribute standardized reports and key product line metrics. Coordinate forecasting, p/n loading and supply chain interactions between the regional (Americas and EMEA) Closures product teams on products sourced across regions. Conduct periodic review and initiate updated product collateral, including literature, specification sheets, videos, and standard recommended procedures and installation instructions with guidance from the Product Line Specialist. Support product training for Customer Service, Sales, Application Engineering, etc. with collateral, samples and other training materials, as required. Collect information from multiple internal sources to define and quantify product-related challenges and to secure requisite data and provide analyses to support well-informed day-to-day decisions. Participate in management of supply chain disruption issues as appropriate. Coordinate information flow between PLM, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, and other parties as needed. Experiences/Education - Required: Bachelor’s degree – Business , Engineering, Data Analytics, Math or equivalent. Fluent in English and French (elementary understanding of German or another European language is preferred). Technical experience and/or skills (in mechanical engineering or similar field). Fundamental knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.); familiarity with SAP & PowerBI is beneficial. Experience in data and financial analysis. Capable of working efficiently in a high-speed environment (being proactive, working autonomously, solving problems, and managing multiple tasks).
