The Product Line Lead is the frontline sales person for their assigned product line. The product line is comprised of assigned OEMs, inventory, or suppliers the Product Line Lead is responsible for generating sales from. The Product Line Lead is responsible for achieving business objectives by identifying customers, submitting quotes, and securing bookings for their assigned product line. The Product Line Lead oversees all aspects of pre-award and post-award performance and collaborates with team members and stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations and performance metrics are achieved.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Achieve business goals (e.g. sales/bookings, revenue, gross margin, product conformity, and on-time delivery) by securing sales/bookings with qualifying customers for assigned product line
+ Monitor bid boards or other sources for customer solicitations, identify opportunities to bid on, qualify, bid, negotiate, and win opportunities with customers to achieve business goals
+ Maintain trust and good working relationships with all levels of supply chain partners' and customers’ key staff and management personnel
+ Negotiate favorable pricing and contractual terms and conditions with supply chain partners and customers
+ Lead all aspects of pre-award and post-award performance and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations and performance metrics are met
+ Engage supply chain partners and lead constructive collaboration to overcome operational, performance, or business challenges
+ Coordinate and collaborate with supporting team members and stakeholders to submit compliant quotes which provided the greatest value to V2X and its customers
+ Effectively manage rebate or discount programs with supply chain partners to ensure V2X maximizes program benefits
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
+ 4+ years of sales experience
+ Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
+ Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint)
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
+ Practical knowledge of FAR/DFAR
+ Past experience selling spare parts or repair services to domestic or foreign government customers
+ Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail with a focus on quality results
OTHER:
+ The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing
+ Ability to travel. May require up to 10% travel.
