We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Product Business Management Analyst to lead efforts in rationalizing and optimizing our extensive software product portfolio. This role is crucial in driving strategic decisions regarding end-of-life product planning, divestitures, and resource allocation to focus on growth areas. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in data analysis, product lifecycle management, and executive communication to deliver actionable insights that guide portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analyses of product performance using data from multiple systems, including bookings, ARR, ticketing/support trends, telemetry/usage data, and customer demographics.
Develop frameworks and models for evaluating the cost-benefit of maintaining, divesting, or retiring products based on financial and strategic metrics.
Create and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports that illustrate key insights about the product portfolio’s performance.
Collaborate with Finance, Product Management, and other teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
Conduct market research and benchmarking to support product strategy and strategic initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders to assess potential divestiture opportunities, including financial modeling and market analysis.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and strategic recommendations for optimizing the portfolio and aligning resources with growth priorities.
Ability to develop advanced scripts to automate and refresh PowerPoint presentations with various Power BI graphics.
