What You’ll Do:
A qualified Product Management Intern must be a student who is currently enrolled full-time in an accredited degree program. The individual must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervisory direction. The intern will be exposed to many areas of how a business strategy is developed going from a macro view down to the actionable sales and marketing steps. They will have an opportunity to work across multiple functions within an organization and see how different groups collaborate towards a common goal. Through the projects there will also be opportunities to refine presentation and communication skills to help develop their style and professional presence.
Perform trend, PESTEL, and market analysis in support of the Industrial SMM.
Assist in developing value pricing models for targeted applications.
Evaluate competitor product offerings in key areas.
Perform initial customer evaluations in key markets.
Assist with the development of sales initiatives to improve internal processes.
Assist in developing marketing collateral for key growth initiatives.
What You’ll Need:
Pursuit of Business or Engineering Degree Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
Compensation:
$22-27 (commensurate with relevant experience and educational background)
Work Hours/Length of Program:
The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August
Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week
Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business
This is a paid internship
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment/general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite.
Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role
This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
May involve moving or lifting items up to 25pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing setting

East Granby, CT if local. Remote possibility depending on location.
