We are currently looking for a Product Management Intern Engineer to join our Life Safety Systems team at Honeywell in Ratingen, Germany. In this role, you will support our Offering Management team in driving portfolio growth initiatives, collaborating across functions, and working closely with stakeholders at all levels.
This is a Hybrid role that is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in product development, portfolio management, and market analysis within Honeywell Fire and Life Safety, a global leader in fire detection, commercial fire systems, and life safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Product Management in market research, innovation analysis, and product development processes.
- Collaborate with R&D and PMO teams to assess and improve product release efficiency.
- Analyze product performance data and create dashboards for reporting.
- Assist in portfolio lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out planning.
- Support demand planning and manufacturing coordination.
- Help define product value propositions and competitive positioning
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Industrial) or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English C1-C2, German B1 desired but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Availability to work on-site in Ratingen at least three times per week.
