Product Management Senior Specialist - NDC

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management or similar discipline with good academic recordsAt least 3 years of Business Analysis, System Analysis, Development or Testing or related roleExposure in functional requirements writing OR business/systems analysis OR business process design/consulting OR systems development OR systems testing a plus·      Good analytical, logic and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Flexible work schedule; willing to travel     Amenable to work on a 50% Hybrid setup·      Amenable to work in BGC Taguig

Common accountabilities:

Provide subject matter expertise on [Navitaire NDC system]Provide ongoing assistance on Navitaire Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Support teamsHas working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.​Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.​Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations. 

 
Specific accountabilities:

Performs systems analysis and requirements elicitationArticulate business needs and translate it into backlog items that the team can refine and develop.Writes user stories, features, and product backlog itemsPrepares necessary artifacts, documents, and analysis to ensure that the team is ready for sprint planning.Tightly works with product owner and product manager to ensure that the scrum team is aligned with agreed upon product priorities, timeline, and scope.Collaborate with different teams and functions to help ensure end to end impact analysis.Coordinate different functional and technical streams to ensure end to end solution consistency.Performs product validation testing of new and existing functionalitiesPresent functional demonstrations of new software features.Refine the product backlog so that maximum product value is derived from integrated. increment created by scrum teams.Performs product and implementation support as applicableAssists with the creation and update of customer and release documentation.Leads requirements elicitation, research, and analysis.Participate in agile events and lead refinement when applicable / required.Understand industry trends around NDC, interline, and passenger service system.Other related duties as assigned

Desired Experience:

Knowledge and experience in XML messages, SoapUIKnowledge in distribution, NDC, and airline industryKnowledge of travel industry groups, practices and/or standards: IATA, ATPCOPrevious experience with Navitaire’s New Skies reservation systemExperience with scrum/agile methodology
